We may make it out to Wellsville yet this season, I'll let you know if we do.
Wellsville is a bit like Perry State Forest, in that you really need to know someone who knows the locations of the single tracks in order to easily find anything to ride other than Jeep and side by side trails, & the very well known gnarly hill climbs. Interestingly enough, some trail users there have added the locations of the most popular of the hill climbs onto Google Maps as some sort of hiking routes or ski lift routes or something like that, some technical loophole where they were able to literally put them on the map! Look up The Forbidden Zobe Campground on Google Maps and select the terrain view map layer, and also switch back and forth to the satellite map, you'll see the hill climbs labeled at certain zoom levels. Scooby, Boat Dock, Crazy Horse etc.
My buddy lives about 45 minutes from there near Akron, he knows Wellsville somewhat decently, enough to get us around, and has learned a fair bit of the single tracks there from his high level racer buddies he works with at Kenda. A lot of the trails they take him on involve riding up some gnarly stuff including some very steep slippery waterfalls to get into the single tracks, so he didn't guide us on the full tour because it would have guaranteed half of us flopping our bikes down hard!
I have some write-ups on here about Wellsville with a few photos:

The yellow arrows I sketched on here take you from the green dot which is the campground, and down a big power line clear cut hill climb that's nearly half mile down to the creek (there's a picture of my bike looking up from the upper section which is a fairly technical medium steepness rocky climb), and then hangs a right into the creek called Rocky Run. The famous Crazy Horse hill climb and one other really intensely steep and tall hill climb are both off of Rocky Run. The creek is really good fin rock riding, and there are several really technical trails that come up out of that if you look carefully enough and explore a lot.
I think the track headed south Southwest out of the campground on my GPS screenshot is a single track that starts right behind a permanent cabin built towards the end of the campground that's adorned with motorcycle tires and other bike trinkets, I suspect it's maybe one of the campground owners unless it's a semi-permanent resident camper's spot. Hit that. A lot of others there are ATV trails we were connecting with, but I believe a few of those other tracks might be singles as well. Like I said, your best linking up with someone who knows how to get to all the good single tracks there and is going to be able to guide you on routes that are within your choice of technicality and skill level.
We ride at Wayne National Forest & Perry State Forest a fair bit, but this year has been too busy for me and June and July far too hot to get much riding in, sadly.
I might have even seen you around Perry before, but I usually try & go out of my way to talk to anybody with a KDX where possible unless I'm with a group that's moving.
I did chat briefly with someone on a KDX at the trailhead last time I was at Perry 4-5 weeks ago, but I think it might have been an E-Series. My KDX has purple shrouds and graphics with the KX checkered flag background and purple seat, hard to miss that one.
