Excessive head cylinder splooge

Post by JoshJHTX »

As title infers, what is the deal; does anyone else have this issue? Whole lotta splooge seeping from below the expansion chamber connection to the head. I’ve replaced the o ring set and copper washer and still leaking

You mean exhaust port leakage, nothing to do with the head
Can be many causes but most common is the pipe is bent and the flange of the exhaust is not sitting flush against the copper washer

Yes, check to see if the pipe is bent. If it has rubbed against the cylinder, it could widen the gap between the cylinder and pipe.

Check the springs and mounting tabs.
