With a stock stator it would be impossible. You would need to rewind the stator, add a rectifier to convert to DC, add a battery, and then you would be ok to run one 35 watt HID. Now, LED's are a much better option. Less draw, and regardless of what you have been told, they will run on AC.

LED, tons of light per wattage. I am running two 6 watt on a factory kx 250 stator. A kdx could run two 15's and that would be killer light. Just make sure you get the proper color LED.
