$250 roller? Considering..........

Post by Julien D »

According to the seller, engine was pulled several years ago to replace the crank. It never got replaced, and the engine and associated parts have been residing in the attic in a few buckets. Guess it's time to let her go.....

It's about 2 - 2.5 hours from me, and the cheapest I've been able to find a 125 roller for.

Anyone able to identify the year? The seller says "late 90's" and thinks it's a 97 or 98.

Yeah I would, but I don't have it. ;)

I'll ask the dude, but some guys are unwilling to give vin numbers out via email. Worried about somehow getting scammed I guess.

I can tell you it's not an 02 because of the round subframe.

Why 96? Somethin jumping out at ya or are you just making a guess?

Pretty sure it has to be 95 - 98, but without any more info, I could only guess. The absence of shrouds makes it particularly difficult. 96 could very well be accurate.

Still waiting to hear back on the vin. If he won't give I'll ask for just the 10th digit. That should give me the year, yes? If I don't want it, I have a buddy who I'm pretty sure will.

Might be '94? Jeekinz is doing his restoration, and he's looking for that seat cover.

I'm passing on this. Too long a drive to pickup, and money is too tight to take on a project right now. Dude never did reply to my request for VIN though, but he did send me the above picture....

In case anyone here is interested...
