Just starting a hybrid - 2001 KX 125 with a 1992 E motor. Going off the sticky info the drawing shows removing 9mm from each inside portion of the swingarm. Is this correct for my motor too?
My motor isn't available for measuring...
thx.
are all KDX 200's the same width at the swingarm mount?

you'll need to measure and cut accordingly. The 9 mm is just for reference and guideline. Check my hybrid build if you want I showed my measurement.
I actually need to update it since I made some modification to the swingarm.
Another member did the E conversion in a kx frame, look it up, there are a lot of differences with the sticky (H model).

I took 9 mm from both sides for my 2003/E series build. Worked great. Just be careful with the bearing inner races--they are what will bear the load of the torqued swingarm pivot and what will truly center the cases--a little extra room from the swingarm is inconsequential. After cutting my swingarm, I though I had cut way too much off--not really. The key is those inner races.

don't take out too much or you'll end up with too much space between the case and the swingarm, then dirt and mud will be more prone to get in the bearings. I cut mine a bit too much and ended with a bit more play than I liked so I removed even more to add an extra wider washer to cover the bearing better. Plus the sleeve has a collar but it was I felt a little small.
I will be updating my hybrid build in a few days with some measurement for reference.
