Good evening friends! It is a pleasure to greet you.
My name is Ricardo Giacom and I am from the town of Cerrillos in the province of Salta here in the Argentine Republic.
I'm finishing recovering my 1994 Kawasaki KDX 200E6.
I will bring all my experience gained in the process of rebuilding KDX.

Welcome.
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

I couldn't get the Instagram ones to show, but the Youtube one did. That is a nice looking KDX250. Keep at it. Congratulations!

Hello dear friend!! Yes, we dedicated and put a lot of work into the motorcycle to achieve a good result.
Today 01/05/2025 I used it for the first time on dirt. The bike handles excellent! It remains to give it a good carburetor configuration to make driving much more explosive.

Hi Ricardo,
Are there many KDX motorcycles and parts in Argentina?

What is the capacity of the fuel tank on your motorcycle?

Hello my dear friend!!!
There are many KDX 200s but most of them are highly modified and have lost the bike's originality. There are also KDX 220s and 250s but in less demand.
I would think that the KDX 400 never entered Argentina, but I did see a single publication of a KX500 for sale.
Regarding the acquisition of spare parts for a KDX 200, it is relatively simple but in a higher percentage of used parts. For KDX 250, it is much more difficult to obtain spare parts.
As an additional fact, I tell you that the price of a KDX 200, which are in poor condition in most cases, costs around US$1,000, US$2,000 and even US$2,500.

The effective capacity volume of the fuel tank is 12L and the tank is made of plastic.
I usually never fill the tank completely and usually load it with 8 liters.

Gracias, Ricardo. My KDX has a translucent plastic fuel tank that has a capacity of 13.6 L. I also carry a red plastic auxiliary tank that has a capacity of 3.7 L. Shown here:

I need this much fuel because I ride off-road far into remote mountains. If I do not carry this much fuel, then I do not make it home.
