Does anyone know if I can put a 1988 kdx200 expansion chamber on my 1984 kdx 200 ?

They have the same diameter at the exhaust port, but IIRC the pipe is shaped differently because on the 88 they changed the cylinder to accommodate the KIPS. You could probably cut and weld it if you are competent or know someone who is with a welder, but it likely won't be easy. You'd probably also need to relocate the mount brackets.

Dang I mean I have a welder myself but I’m not the best at it and don’t want to risk messing anything up thanks for the response I’m probably just gonna save a little money and get the dg expansion chamber

Do you know any other expansion chambers that might fit my 84 kdx200 ?
