On my way to putting a 68mm racing piston into a 96 kdx200... Sooo any advice on if the cylinder is even fixable with that big chunk taken out between an intake and exhaust port.. piston just got here just sorting out a few new plastics n a new top end gasket kit.. also just realised the piston kit never came with the big end bearing lol ffs that stupid. With post a few pics here and there as I go.. can anyone let me know of an easy frond fork conversion.

The cylinder can be welded and then plated. Millennium had to weld mine up and, including the plating, cost me about $290.
Easiest front end conversion is from a KX500. It's a straight bolt on as far as I know.

Look for a place that does plating in AUS. It should be repairable, then replateable.
The "big end bearing" is actually the one that is around the crankshaft pin. The small end bearing is the one at the top (small) end of the connecting rod. Most piston kits do not include that bearing.
