On my KDX 450 I notice my engine steady ( From the head up and back to the frame) is missing... Is this a deliberate omission (because) they are not really needed or has it fractured and needs replacement

The frame breakdown page on Partzilla.com shows a brace (steady) from the head to the frame. No longer sold but looks like you could fashion one up pretty easy with a piece of metal.

I made one last night from redundant brake stay ex-SWM Jumbo trials, figuring that it couldn't hurt to have one.
