Hello all, it’s been a while since I’ve posted.
I’m overhauling one of my sons ‘99 220... he took out a couple of gears. I’ve got access to a late model 200 complete gear set. The question is are the 200 and the 220s interchangeable as in ratios? Thanks Bryan

it's the same bike all around, except for the cylinder and carb.
yes, you can swap the transmission parts.

A few (well, at least one) of the power valve parts are different, too. (To account for the larger bore of the 220.)ohgood wrote:it's the same bike all around, except for the cylinder and carb.

Yes, the center KIPS valve (the large one) is different between the two (12005-1274 for the 200, 12005-1273 for the 220) but the rest of the KIPS parts are the same.

The chain is different and so are the swingarm stickers.
