At Cyclopedia http://www.cyclepedia.com/kawasaki-kdx200/ this was wrote about the updated ’95 KDX 200:
“The new engine and its mounting configuration had finally reduced vibration to a distant memory on the KDX”
That gives some credence to my saying my ’89 vibrated too much since it implied that previous to ’95 there was too much engine vibration.
I had to put shotgun pellets inside the handlebars of my '89 KDX200 to make my ride enjoyable.
Anyone else with a pre-95 KDX that has significant vibration at the handlebars?
Vibration anyone?

Also;
Speaking of vibration the site http://motoshot.tripod.com/id2.html wrote about the H series:
“Crankshaft balance ratio of 78 percent cuts vibration felt by the rider”

Re: Vibration anyone?
My normal ride is a KTM 380, plus I've been riding big bore smokers for 40+ years, so over the years I've become immune to the vibs....
I have put rubber pads under the bar mounts, and recently switched to carbon fiber handle bars with good pillow top grips. Previously my hands would go numb (due to carpel tunnel) but the new bars and grips really have made a huge difference.
When I'm on the KDX, I don't notice vibs at all... again I've become somewhat immune to the vibs

Re: Vibration anyone?
Yeah my 1993 had really bad vibrations. I figured it was my Renthal handlebars.

Re: Vibration anyone?
With the best balance possible still the bigger the engine the more the vibration.
Why is explained on my site: http://www.dragonfly75.com/moto/crankbalance.html
The heavier the handlebars the more inertia they have and therefore the more resistance to vibration they have. But extra vibration on a '93 KDX may have been due to the crank wheels having been tweaked out of their ideal position when the cases were reassembled if the mechanic didn't use a spacer between the crank wheels to keep that from happening. You can tell by taking the cylinder and piston off and rotating the crank while using your fingernail to feel for high spots. Of course stabilize the position of your finger by pressing it against the cases. If the high spot is around the connecting rod pin then that is what happened. You might get lucky by lightly tapping it with a small hammer to reposition the wheels correctly.
