Will a later model kickstart fit a C3?

As above will a later model kickstart fit the air cooled KDX?
Mine is knackered and struggling to get a new one.

Yes, but the later model kickstarters are higher and further out from the bike - making things harder than they need to be. A fredette aluminum kick-starter will work, that's what I prefer on my '87. As I recall, he sells the lever to bolt to your base, or he'll sell the whole thing.

KX250 kick lever up to 2002 is a good upgrade.
Might need to grind a little off but it is close to the same shape as the c model.
