Performance pipe 88 model

Post by Gazza »

Hi guys, my 88 is stock aside the wiseco 66.5mm piston kit.
I am wondering if there is a good pipe still avail out there or whether it's best to stick with the stock expansion pipe. Almost completed the rebuild.
Thanks

Performance pipe 88 model

I think the DG is the only commonly still available model. Fortunately, DG does make nice pipes.

Pipe is going to be the biggest single performance move you can make on most all KDXs, as they come in very mild pipe tuning stock.

Yup, DG. I ran DG back to back with FMF on my 89 and much preferred the DG for fit and performance. You can get it quite a bit cheaper from dirtoverstock.com.

Legends !

Thanks a stack, had a look and the pipe looks almost original ! Clearly works better though.
I'll see about getting it shipped, most companies ship global now days.

Much appreciated.
