T he stock fork and shock springs in my 89 200 f / sr are too soft . Do the 89 E series springs fit ?

The stock 1989 E series springs are .30 Kg/mm rate. They are SUPER SOFT!!!

Racetech dont list SR springs. If I order E series springs will they fit o n the SR shock and forks .

What forks are on a 1989 KDX200F?? We don't have that in the USA.

I have Eibach series 996 springs in my SR forks - this link shows which bikes the 996 series fits.

You just need to work out the spring rate for your weight and also you have to cut down the fork preload spacer as these springs are longer than the OEM springs.

The stock oil is 5wt, but most fork builders would recommend 7wt oil in the KDX forks.

10w - I also have Race Tech Cartridge Emulators in the forks. I think the Emulators made a difference but as I fitted them 14 years ago, I've forgotten what the original damping felt like!

I think the stock oil on the conventional forks is 10 weight, with 5 weight on the cartridge forks.
