That depends on several things. Are there any mods to the engine? Does it have the RB mods on it and what pipe, the woods or the rev?
With the RB mods and a rev pipe the engine will pull a little longer so you coule get away with the stock gearing (13 front and 47 rear) or maybe put a 48 or 49 tooth on the rear.
With the woods pipe the biike doesn't like to rev much so you'd be riding the torque at the bottom. I'm not sure what would work in that case.
I have two KDX's (220's), one with the RB and desert (rev) pipe and it doubles as my loaner bike for track days.
No matter what mods however, the KDX is not a great MX bike but I sure have fun on it. I take it and my KX 250 to the track and when I'm tired I ride the KDX.
