Hybrid jetting

Post by Tedh98 »

How much, if at all, did your jetting change when you took your engine out of the KDX and into the KX?

I was reading some posts about how you needed to change jetting when opening up the KDX airbox. If I remember correctly, the KX airbox is more free flowing than the KDX, even with the snorkle/lid removed.

I'm still messing around with jetting after getting the new top end installed. I've been looking at what other's have set-up for their jetting specs, but didn't know how comparable it is due to most of the bikes being KDX's.

I have not changed mine but I think mine is still a little rich. I ended up using the KX air boot (it seals nicely with the KDX clamp) so if anything it leaned it out just a tad.
