Hybrid questions....

Post by HRDROKN »

Well, I know that I have come across these discussions, but the search feature is not helping me much.

So it looks like a front head stay is really the only option on the 99-02 KX as the tank hangs too low. Must be some other configurations that used the rear head stay for those swaps?

Want to go with the 18" rear wheel, remember there being some potential problem with bearing size. So it would seem feasable to get a set of KDX spokes (hubs look to have the same diameters) and a rim to lace to the KX hub. Anyone gone this route?

I used my 2002 KDX rear wheel on my 2002 KX with the KX wheel spacers

OK..... so I just ordered up an Excel 18" rim and spokes. Thinking that I want to keep the KDX as whole as possible.
