The year(s) of the silencer should match the year(s) of the frame so it bolts up properly.

Yes on the diameter, the 125 silencer won't slip over the KDX pipe.

I'm getting ready to start my build using an 03 KX & an 02 KDX220 and would love to have the complete walkthrough.

Thanks,

I'm doing a 2001 KX 125 frame and an E motor (1992).
Do you think I should get a 2001 KX 250 PC pipe, or what would likely be a close fit? Modding the fitting at the head is something I can handle. The 1992 kdx PC pipe does'nt work.
Please suggest.
thx. :supz:
