KX250 chassis?

Is there a reason no one uses a 250 chassis for their hybrid? Are they heavier, harder to come by, more involved?

Just curious if I should expand my search to include a 250 roller?

Heavier. The whole point is to have a lighter more nimble biek with a kdx engine. The kx250 won't accomplish that very well.
