Since then i've added some barkbusters and K35 pipe. Having had a look around I'm now looking at KX frames :)
I'm based in melbourne, victoria so its nice and cold down here this time of year :) In the sunnier months I tend to ride the supermoto around, bit of road work and some track time too

I had a DRZ tard but blew it up, tried the kdx as a tard for a bit but can say it makes a much better trail bike :)

Have just put a zeta clutch lever on the kdx, waiting for my brake lever to turn up...

But managed to break the clutch cable retaining bracket off somehow

I've always found it very soft power wise, so I'm wondering whether mine is running properly, as there's very little hit. I know they're mild bikes, but with 13/47 it doesn't want to wheelie without a yank on the bars, which sounds wrong ... jetting is 42p/155m and middle clip pos, drilled airbox cover. I'm going to get some new reeds (mebbe order a v force cage + reeds) and get the dent in the pipe fixed and see if I can't get it figured out ... I also cut out the top of the airbox properly, tho that was probably fine before (snorkel out + drilling).
Anyhoo, looking forward to getting out on the kdx a bit more now ... had a short crack out at wombat state forest the other week and was much fun, even at my snail's pace
