I'm pretty sure you'll have two holes in your swingarm where that mounting plate was. Seems to me the bolts are longer than the kickstand + plate is thick.
May not be so, but worth a look before grinding that sucker off

You will have TWO HOLES in the Swing-arm. That will look even more ridiculous than the pathetic KDX Kick Stand.......

Yea I dont want two holes left in the swingarm. So im thinking about dual kickstands I want to mount a kickstand on the right side as well as the stocker on the left incase im out riding a woods trail and I get off of my bike on the right side and there are no trees around to prop the bike against, because in Pa there aren't any trees.

Yeah, that's the ticket . . .
that way you won't have all that extra weight of the stock kickstand causing you to drift off course to the left while yer racing!!!!

JUST USE A 4 INCH GRINDER AND A GRINDING DISK.. THEN GO OVER IT WITH A TIGER DISK OR WIRE WHEEL.. NOT SURE IF ANYBODY HAS EVER TAKEN THE TAB OFF BUT I DONT SEE WHY YOU COULDNT. YOU WILL HOWEVER BE ABLE TO TELL THAT SOMETHING WAS THERE UNLESS YOU POLISH OR PAINT THE SWINGARM AFTERWARDS. JUST MY 2 CENTS...
