OK which one do you recommend?

The ones with or without frame loop protectors.

Also which manufacturer you recommend.

I had a Utah Skip Plate on my KDX. Good plate- you could hear it go "twwwwiiiinnnnggggg" every now and then.

I've got the same Utah Skid Plate and it's been awesome. I've dented the **** out of it and it still holds together, I mean the thing has dents the size of softballs and I wouldn't want to think what it'd be like without it. :shock:
