2001 BMW R1150GS

Post by billie_morini »

Bought another BMW in JAN 2024. Very nice price, okay condition, and big aluminum adventure panniers. Specifically sought model earlier than 2002 to avoid ever increasing electronics and perceived (but foolish) safety features.

My 2001 BMW R1150GS received a new and highly appropriate decal. Australians, especially, and other folks call the gray model like mine a rhino.

Tremendous R100GS! Thank you, Chuck! From the photo with the helmeted Mrs., I see that my riding ensemble is missing a critical element. I need a handbag!
