Introducing myself, I'm Teri Fredette, Jeff Fredette's wife. I’m working on Jeff's biography, the legendary racer, ISDE competitor, and the man who has been synonymous with the Kawasaki KDX for decades. And just so we don't start any rumors, Jeff is doing great. I just started learning more about his history and asked him why no one has written his story. With much effort, he finally agreed to let me write his biography. He is a humble man and can't understand why anyone would want to read it.
The KDX community has always been a huge part of Jeff’s story, and I’d love to include your voices in this project. If you’ve got a memory, story, photo or experience with Jeff, whether it’s racing alongside him, buying parts from Fredette Racing Products, or simply being inspired by his impact on the KDX world, I’d love to hear it. I'm adding a chapter to the book called "Voices" ... it will take your stories, quotes and memories and credit you with it. I'm super excited for that part of the book.
Please feel free to share your story in the comments below or message me directly. Your memories will help capture not just Jeff’s racing achievements, but the legacy he’s built with the riders who love these bikes. And his dedication to off-road and ice racing.
Thank you for helping honor Jeff’s incredible journey.

Re: Jeff Fredette Biography - Looking for Stories, Quotes and Memories
Welcome to the forum! I hope a few have some great experiences they can share.
Personally, many years ago, Jeff helped me to locate some parts but that's about all I got as in direct dealing with him. He was very helpful and took care of me. On another note, he has always been an inspiration to me as a rider and racer since I was a young man back in the 1980's.

Re: Jeff Fredette Biography - Looking for Stories, Quotes and Memories
Thank you for joining kdxrider.net. Also, a HUGE thank you for doing a biography on him. I remember buying parts from him in the "W, L and J" days. I met him at the 1987 Cherokee enduro in 1987 in Georgia. He took time after the race to answer my questions. I have always appreciated that.
If I can find a post card or info from the old days, I will post it.
THANKS AGAIN!
