Yeah, I admit it's always cool when it's something you can do yourself!

Re: wider foot pegs
I've been running these cheap steel ones off ebay for over a year now and they are holding up well, they are 2"(50mm) wide, stock is 1.6"(41mm) 11oz(.312kg) each and the same length as stock.colingrigson wrote: 08:37 am Sep 17 2025 I've heard KX125 & KX250 footpegs fit a KDX H model. Can anyone confirm this?
Would stay clear of the aluminum ones on ebay/amazon etc. as many have reported them breaking.

Re: wider foot pegs
colingrigson, look on IMS footpeg site. If a peg with the KDX part number is the same for a KX, then it should be a direct fit.
Try to avoid the cheapie ones from eBay. It will be tough to beat the IMS pegs.

Re: wider foot pegs
My buddy showed up for a ride on his new-to-him KTM motocross bike and it had footpegs with an extension off the back of them. A poor description would be like a lollypop with the stick coming out of the back of the regular peg, but flat on the top of the candy part with teeth. He said that it was made like that to help prevent ankle injuries. Anyone know if this works in the woods?

Re: wider foot pegs
I like IMS Super Stock Foot Pegs. Have them on Kawi, Suzi, & BMW. The pair for the KDX didn't fit quite right out of the package.
See photo showing upward angle.
See photo with red line indicating where it was necessary to grind material off new foot peg to achieve proper fitment.
See photo showing perfected install. Looks & works great!

Those look great!
I need to look into wider foot pegs for my 92... That may be the solution for me, assuming they work the same on an E series (also assuming that was an H series/220).
Thanks for the great photos and explanation!
