I have a 1984 KDX200 and I had to fit a new style flywheel on it. I clocked the original stator according to some photos I found on this site and have my timing light set up for two stroke and marked top dead center but anytime I think I might have it close when I restart the bike again the mark is in a completely different spot like almost opposite where it was. I can keep shutting it down and restarting and it just keeps jumping around the flywheel. Kinda stumped if anyone can chime in that has fitted a E-series flywheel on a 1983-1985 or anyone with experience timing the KDX’s it would be much appreciated!
Thanks Rick

Re: Help Setting timing
Considering you have another topic in General about this very same issue I'm closing this one.
Good luck on getting it figured out. Wish I could help.
