I was lucky enough to get a pair of KX500 forks and was wondering if anyone found a way to use the kdx220 hub/axle? I could careless about the trip unit but was hoping there is a way to use my current hub/axle.
Thanks

I think the only way is make custom spacers and inserts. I put a KX front end on and ended up buying a KX wheel and axle.

Re: KX500 forks on a KDX220
From what I can tell, most people seem to just shop eBay for a used kx wheel. I think I paid $30 for a kx250 front wheel including brake disc. The disc and the wheel bearings were both still good. Just a tire swap. KDX caliper fits a kx 250/125 wheel & fork, at least it did on mine. Not sure about a kx 500.

The KDX caliper does fit the KX500 fork. I checked on allball’s and the steering bearing with seals match up at 99-3518-5.
