83KDX250 Kick starter

Hi All, I am new to the group so G'day from downunder. I guess this has been covered but I could not find the topic. Anyhow I lost my kickstarter on last ride ( yes I know big mistake not locktighting ) and I am having real trouble finding a replacement. The OEM parts manual says 83/84 KDX or KX250 only. Can anyone tell me 100% if there are other model KDX kickers that will fit. Thanks in advance

BUT I have no idea if the shafts are the same size across these later years. I guess you'll have to measure your shaft to find out. Just trying to point you in the right direction.
