Hi all.
I am looking for a set of forks to upgrade my KDX forks. Someone is selling this set of Kayaba forks. Apparently from a KX125 but not sure of the year. Can anyone help me identify and will they be good for the KDX?
I have attached 2 pics.

Not sure but they look like what I remember my '96 KX125 46mm KYB's looked like.

They look like 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997 or 1998.
The lugs on the bottom changed on 1999. 1991 - 1993 were blue.
Ask them for tube dimension. 43 mm for 1991 - 1995. 46 mm for 1996 - 2001.

Re: Please help identify these forks
Great thank you. I believe pre 96 forks are a bit more difficult to switch with than later models?
I've found another set from a 04 kx250f. Pretty sure this will be a much better choice?

Re: Please help identify these forks
Any year is going to be about the same as far as swapping parts over. Consider spring rate availability when purchasing.
Forks with the 43 mm inner tubes are going to have smaller outer tubes than 46, which will have smaller tubes than 48 mm.
I have ridden member treelimb's 1997 KDX200 with KLX300R forks. The outer tubes lightly touch the fuel tank when turned fully. I assume larger tubes will contact it sooner within the swing arc of movement.
If you are OK with the tubes hitting the tank, or plan a steering stop modification of some sort, the 2004 KX250F forks have aftermarket spring availability for many rates.
