Fork sag
I rebuilt the forks of my recently purchased 02 220. It has Race Tech gold valves set up for 175# rider. FRP recommends .37 kg/mm springs. That is what it has. I set the preload at 4mm per suggestions here. My question is I have 43mm of sag setting the bike on the floor with just the weight of the bike on the front end. Does this sound right? I haven't ridden yet. The front also seems fairly stiff when compressing the forks. I filled with 5 weight oil with KDX manual specified oil quantity.

Re: Fork sag
You are 175 in full gear? Either way, 0.37 is too weak.
I think the sag is off. FRP used to recommend stock preload.
Surely no regular member here suggested 37s. I hope not

Re: Fork sag
Jason, Thanks for the info. No one here recommended .37kg/mm. FRP does. Everybody here recommended .41Kg/mm. I think .43mm of sag seems like a lot.
