rear shock spring
OK fellows With your help I rebuilt my 2000 220 forks and understand how to measure the fork springs and what spring I needed. Now, I have 2 more KDX's headed this way. One has a "heavier" shock spring. How do I measure shock spring rate and where do I find a chart with correct spring by the weight and type of riding?

Re: rear shock spring
Stock is 5.0 for 1995+.
Look for manufacturer markings, if possible.
You will need to take them to a suspension shop or a shop that deals with car racing, as you need a spring tester that is pretty heavy duty

Re: rear shock spring
If you are shopping online for a new spring, YZ springs also fit. Check against a catalog or race tech to make sure.
This is my rifle, this is my gun, the YZ to go fast, the KDX is for fun!
