Power valve into case question

Power valve into case question
Hi guys I am new to this site, I recently started doing some repairs to my 1993. 200 Took apart the side case replace the water pump gaskets and bearing, putting the side case back on where does the power valve line up? I don't see it attached to anything. Thanks

This is for the H series but the shaft intersects the governor the same way on yours.

So it just sits in the grove? Thanks that was a big help. Now to tackle my broken KIPS
