Can an EFM auto-clutch use a clutch lever?
I bought a used 97 KDX with the efm auto-clutch in it, and LOVE the clutch.... it feels like I'm cheating when riding with my pals that have clutches!
The PO put a rear hand brake where the clutch lever would normally be. I have considered putting the brakes back to the foot, but haven't been real motivated to do so, as I am now used to the brake being there. I do sometimes miss the clutch for popping it for logs, etc.
Does anybody know if I can put a clutch on this auto clutch?

You lose the clutch lever with the EFM.

Yep no lever, unless you have a 250 like me.

Maybe you are thinking of Revloc? EFM uses your existing clutch.

Hmm, maybe, it's been awhile. I had it in my head that nobody made an auto clutch for the KDX. Guess I was wrong!

I tried the KTM Freeride E and you get a much better control with the hand rear brake. Also you can use it in right turn corners when your leg is not on the footpeg19Delta wrote:I have considered putting the brakes back to the foot, but haven't been real motivated to do so

The ones that are available arent cheap either. The EFM and Rekluse are close to each other in price. When Revloc was making ones they were certainly more affordable. But they didnt always work as they should.19Delta wrote:I had it in my head that nobody made an auto clutch for the KDX. Guess I was wrong!

Does Rekluse currently make one for the H series KDX?

No they never have. A couple of years ago I figured out how to make one work. If you click the link in my sig I have a bunch of pictures of the conversions I have made.
