Re: Raer wheel bearings
6004-2RS is the generic bearing number. You can get them pretty cheap at your local bearing supplier or online. Get good ones SKF, NACHI, FAG, not the Chinese junk.

Re: Raer wheel bearings
david, what kind of prices are the higher quality bearings? I did a quick look for SKF, and it was 25 for one bearing at Enco.
Are Koyo easy to find?

Re: Raer wheel bearings
SKF's are the best you can get... worth the extra money if you can spend it. Just find the bearing number, and search for them on e-bay. When I was replacing bearings on my quad, I was able to get the majority of them thru people selling overstock bearings... got them mad cheap. The only other thing you would have to do if order new seals (I bought new OEM seals).
For my hybrid, I was able to buy an SKF bearing kit for my wheels through MotoSport. I couldn't believe it when I saw it was there...saved me a lot of time! They also make these sweet seals that have an extra outer plastic shield to help keep mud out. Havent put them to use yet, but they seem awesome.

You can get them on ebay for $10-15 each.Jason wrote:david, what kind of prices are the higher quality bearings? I did a quick look for SKF, and it was 25 for one bearing at Enco.

Koyo is the OEM bearing, and you can get it from some of the online Kawasaki dealers for $21, so you know you could get it cheaper somewhere else.
