1992 kdx 200 clutch, pls help me

After installing new plates my clutch won't work I pull the cable and there is no pull back the cable just stays stuck there until I pull it back. Can someone help, pls and ty. :cry:

You installed something incorrectly. Pull it back apart and start over being methodical in how you reassemble it.

count the fibers and steels from the old clutch pack, then compare to the new.

Well I installed them all right and there is the same amount of plates on both the old and new kit so what else could it be, I also put in new springs could it be that?

Check that the activator rod is in correctly.

Have you looked at a parts break down of the clutch to make sure you have all the thrust washers and judder springs in the correct places?

Yeah that's the exact same pic I have and yeah I did make sure with that pic but the plates don't fit like tight on my clutch basket is that a problem even though I think I installed it right. I also had a question, I seen in other dirt bikes that the rod is attached to the clutch should my activator rode be attached to any part of it?
