I cut to length a 3/8-inch OD, 1/4-inch ID, steel bushing to fill the hole for the subframe mounting strut. I then inserted a 1/4-inch bolt, and nyloc nut, to secure the subframe strut, and to serve as an anchor for the top of the kickstand spring.
Once installed, the Trail Tech kickstand was much too long for my bike. Therefore, I pulled out the nylon foot, and cut 2 inches from the bottom of the kickstand. I used a large drill bit to extend the hole for the nylon foot deeper into the kickstand, and I reinstalled the nylon foot.
To allow the kickstand to swing farther forward when lowered, I used an angle grinder to cut a different angle into the bottom portion of the mounting bracket.

Taking my first ride today, the kickstand worked well! However, I am going to periodically inspect all bolts to make sure they are still tight, and secure.
