opinion: Partzilla any good?
Are any of you happy with Partzilla as a source for parts? I think Powerpartsplus.com is the same company. I ordered a part. Status said it was in stock. I did a live chat on another topic and asked about the current order that I had made and they said that the in stock part was not in stock after all. They also emailed me on another plastic part that I ordered and said that it was now only available for another $15 added to their advertised price...............

I have never bought from them, but their data sure comes in handy.
Most online places that are that cheap are not the most accurate on inventory.

Re: opinion: Partzilla any good?
I'm bringing a '93 200 back to life. Lot's of PO neglect. I decided to install a stiffer rear shock spring and found the lower shock bearing had disintegrated. So, for the first time ever, I ordered the replacement parts from Partzilla. I want to ride the bike in a Dual Sport ride this Sunday so I paid a couple extra bucks for fast shipping (2 days). It's now been 5 days...no package...called them...they offered to trace the package at UPS...that may take a couple days...if not found they'll send replacement parts...UPS finally realized the package was lost...sent a notice that my arrival status had changed...ETA is TBD...
Probably my last order with them ever again.

If time is most important to a buyer, I suggest buying at the local official Kawasaki dealer.
If money is most important, then buy online and deal with the time.
I have placed MANY online orders in the last 10+ years. I almost NEVER needed it right away. I try to stock up on spares and oil and such, especially when shopping for non-current parts.

Yeah....probably good advice. But, my local dealer is closed on Monday and I thought I could order the part, pay a little extra for 2 day shipping and have it by Wed...............Good theory....poorly executed.

RMATV is the place to go for fast, reliable shipping. Partzilla is good if you can wait 3-4 weeks for parts to show up.

There are a few places that do OEM online with accurate or near accurate inventory. I would do RM if I had to. (for OEM).
