Post by Tbar »

I have bought and recived new front breakpads, the problem is that they dont fit my bike.
New pair looks like this

Old pair looks like this.

Google pads for a kdx 200-90 pics of both models show up but i cant figure out how the new pair would fit my bike.
Is there different models of kdx from same year?

The 90 had a single piston caliper up front, and double in back. The pads you received look like they will fit on back.

New pair recently swapped. No problems with those.

I can tell you with 100% certainty that the pads you pictured first in first post will not fit the front of your bike, but you already know that. You need the set that looks like the second pic in your first post. There are a couple different styles that will both mount on the rear. Looking closer, I think the pads you have are for the front on models which have a double piston from caliper.

Thanks for fast reply, is there a kdx with double piston front break? If so i have a pair of pads, brand new.
Come and pick them up in Southern part of Sweden.
Looked like  when dismounted pads looked nothing like the new ones.

I think those are for a 93-94 US model, if not, they are for the 95 and up US models (H series). Since EU and US had different models at different times, you have to be careful of which pads you order.
