Its frozen almost solid, any ideas how to free it it up?

Have you taken the cylinder off or just trying from the outside?

wow

Go to the grocery store and buy a can of E-Z Off oven cleaner. Douse it, then rinse after 10 or 15 minutes. DO NOT let it set on aluminum for a long time!!

It will eat away at the carbon
