1988 kdx200 won't idle

Hi, I just bought an '88 kdx200. It ran and idled fine at first but now it refuses to idle unless the air screw is the whole way in. Could that be a worn out intake boot? and I cleaned the carb already so thats not it.

Ok I'm just trying my luck here cause i'm a little desperate.... :( if you keen to part out the bike or know where I can find a flywheel for an '88, could please lemme know! I can't find one anywhere!

Sounds like an air leak somewhere, could be the intake boot, could be the flywheel side crank seal. Some people have had luck sealing up the intake boot with plasti-dip, the plastic liquid you use to coat tool handles.
