Help with fitting clocks set.

Hi all, just acquired a set of clocks and a headlight fairing for my 1988 KDX200C3.
Having trouble fitting them though. Am I missing a bracket or something?
The headlight fairing bolts on ok, but when the clocks are bolted to it they foul on the top yoke.

They bolt on to the top of the handlebar clamps.
