Hey everyone
I have recently had a 82 kdx 175 motor given to me from a buddy to put in my 2010 gio that had the reverse gear grenaded...anyway i am looking for schematics for this motor and also wanted to know if i can do a compression check on the case without the carb or exhaust on and what should i expect??...after i had to free it up it seems to be in good shape....piston was stuck and i had to tap it with a wooden dowel to get it moving....once it moved i had lubed it up and now it turns over nicely....with the kick start, and the bit of the piston that i can see through the exhaust port looks good ....how much hp these have?? this motor is replacing a 200 cc 4 stroke so i am hoping it will make it move better....
