I agree. Having a hole in there is just asking for trouble IMO. Also, I doubt that is what is causing the failures unless you have a cracked cover and/or are not using a gasket (or using a bad one) on it along with a lot of exposure to water.Julien D wrote:I think the better option would be sealing the water out.
