LBL is OK, but for a large scale ride I'd stick with H&M. If y'all move to KY you'll be fine heading there. The camping at the actual riding area sucks....We stayed at a private camp not too far down the road, but had to trailer bikes in every day.

The best in Michigan that I have rode is in the Northern portion of the lower peninsula. Cheybogan has some really good trails but can connect to many others.
These trails are very good but H&M is the best...

Ok folks, it is getting into winter and its a good time to get this ride planned. For everyone that has done the H&M trip, we all know that place books up early, so we better get on it. As for where we have this ride, it sounds like most people would like to do H&M again. I'm all for that, but open for suggestions. We just need to decide soon. As far as a date, here is what myself, Jim and Dustin were thinking....
We have been talking about moving this trip into june so it might not be as rainy, and also not too hot yet. I think it would be awesome if we went on like the week of june 3rd. We are thinking about driving there on wed. the 6th, riding the 7th-10th, and driving home on monday the 11th.
That would be 4 full days of riding for us, plus plenty of wiggle room for those that have to show up later or leave earlier. Trail systems are up to you guys. I'm just happy to be there! So lets get this thing going, and see what we want to do. Remember, the quicker we can decide, the more options for lodging are available. Rick :supz:

No trips for us. School costs for me will prevent that. Gotta do what I gotta do. The most we will do, probably, will be Taylorville ... if that.

Can I start my whole life over?

June might cut into my racing schedule. Also, my club is hosting an enduro and I'll need to work that weekend. The CT crew may be out for this one and that really stinks!

It simply wouldn't be the same without you guys. Jim look for some dates that aren't conflicting with your schedule - I can't speak for the whole group but I'd rather do it in may again if it means everyone that wants to participate, can.

Yeah guys, I was just going off last years comments about a june ride. I can probably still do may if we want. Memorial day weekend is kind of a no for me though. Way too many people. Keep the suggestions coming!

All I know is that you guys all suck! You just don't know how bad I would love to come ride with you all. Alas, I am poor and there is no way I could make it in May (school time). If you guys do June next year I probably could make it.

Dude, if you're willing to drive that far I'd meet ya whatever weekend you pick. :supz:
(And if it's cheaper to fly, just bring your gear & you can ride my favorite bike... the KDX.)
Can you racers check your schedules again? Maybe there's a free weekend or two during the summer?
