Quick coolant question

So I'm about halfway through a top end rebuild on an '00 220 and was just wondering how much coolant to fill it with and what kind to use. Also I've heard the 220 has a heating problem and was wondering if anyone could shed some light on that because I am considering removing the airbox lid after the top end which would lean I out (hotter engine). Thanks guys[/i]

You fill it up until it's full. There's a bleeder on top of the inlet on the head to let trapped air out. There should be another bleeder on top of the LH radiator you can loosen too so the left rad gets filled completely.

You may need to re-jet after removing the airbox lid, unless it's running rich as it is. If you jetted it with the lid on, removing the lid would require you to re-visit those settings.

I've got stock jetting so just remove and I'm good. Oh and what coolant should I run, just any 50/50 mix?

Why for? Unless you are having a overheating problem... it is a big waste of money.
