The flat head adjuster is stripped out on my rear shock. I have a full replacement for it. Also the replacement one came off another shock. I didn’t drill out the peening It just broke loose and came out really smooth anyways. Just wondering if I should use any thread sealer when reinstalling my replacement. Thanks

Make sure the threads are OK before putting it in.

No thread sealant necessary. Lube the two orings.

One more thing. I can’t find the piston band anywhere. Can I get away without replacing it?

Piston bands are available from places like SDI, technical touch, etc.

You need the band and the o-ring underneath it, 44 mm. There is just one o-ring. Look up Technical Touch.

I went on to their site yesterday and punched in both the e series and h series and none were available to each. Should’ve mentioned that earlier. But knowing that it’s a 44mm band is helpful. Just need to know the rest of the dimensions. Thanks

Don’t worry about what bike a shock was fitted to. Just like KYB 46’s are the same basic fork no matter what bike they came on, so to are the shocks.

Makes sense. Still looking regardless. Thank you.
