Looking to buy new shift lever for 220

I am wanting to buy a new shift lever for my 220 and there is not many options. I don''t like the oem shift lever it has no bend to it and is difficult to up shift with riding boots. IMS sells one and looks just like the oem, and fredette sells a moose lever. Any recommendations?

I have seen the IMS and I would buy that over the oem. This thread has some good info:

I looked there before posting it was from 08 and a couple of those manufactures no longer make levers, and was not sure what year KDX they were even referring to.

I read somewhere that those earlier year shifters will work on the H series, 96-2006 bikes. Can anyone confirm? It may have been on Fredettes site. This shifter seems to have the same bend and shape:

I bought a Scotts E-series shifter for my '90 and it is now on my '98. It has heald up to a lot of abuse and the rubber tip doesn't eat through boots so easily. https://www.scottsonline.com/Product_Pu ... BI_ID=2214
