Shot in the dark but....... if anybody knows it'll be one of you guys!
Have an '81 KDX175 and the rear shock is not rebuildable and weighs a ton (though that's neither here nor there)
I picked up an '81 KX125 shock which has the remote reservoir and weighs about 1/2 what the KDX one does. It's also rebuildable, which was my main issue in this endeavor- as well as being a much better shock.
I also snagged the swingarm from that same KX and was wondering if anybody knows whether or not that will fit on the KDX?
The dimensions look the same. The KX one is aluminum- the KDX one is steel.
It looks like the shocks are interchangeable and I'm hoping arm is, as well.
All linkages are the same so......
Just curious about the arm and if anybody has any experience with this or similar.
