I've always run the VForce II's on the high tension

So I tried em on the low tension today

Holy **** it is snappy!

The reply was because I have used the welding trick many times my self and if there is a reason the bearing is so tight and will not just fall off then once it cools then it will be on even tighter and weld will make it tougher to cut. I was not saying that it won't work, just stating a draw back to the method. His response seemed a little overly defensive to me.

I've never had one get tighter when it cooled off. I'm not saying that you are wrong, but it hasn't happend to me. If someone else wants to try this then they need to consider your experinece and mine before they make the decision to try it.

I have been wondering about that. Have you heard how long the reeds will live in the low tension position?

They've never shown any signs of wear in the high setting

If you don't mind my asking, what is that Shinko Radial good for? I'm seeing several KDXs with that type of tire on them. Is that a dual sport tire or does it have a specail purpose?
