Just had someone think that the '95 up bikes have cartridge forks due to this wiki. That needs to be corrected.

The Wiki is correct in that regard:
  • '95+ KDXs have conventional cartridge forks.
  • '93-'94 KDX200s have inverted cartridge forks
  • 92' and prior KDX200s have conventional damping rod forks.

I hope this is true! If so, maybe I'll keep the USDs on my 93 after all!

According to Cyclepedia, regarding the H series in 95:
"43mm conventional slider cartridge forks replaced the inverted forks from the year before"

Both the '95+ H Series conventional forks and '93-94 E-Series inverted forks are more or less the same internal design. The cartridge valving stacks for each are exploded at the bottom of these pictures by Jason:
